Our team at Selo Footprints has organized the "Stronger Together" fundraiser and have set their targets very high - to reach the summit of the mighty Rinjani Volcano at 3,726m and raise $10,000 for the suffering communities of Lombok and neighbouring islands along the way, with your kind help!
At Selo, we’re passionate about sustainability, and we demonstrate a commitment to sustainability principles in both our internal operations and in our engagement with local communities and the natural environment. Our commitment is reflected in every decision we make, and is as important to us as maintaining a high-quality estate with world-class facilities and service levels.
Hidden East of Lombok there are farmers that are growing pineapples. 🍍
They were growing it just for fruit and no other usage. So, they started to explore how they could fully use this plant and Pinalo was born.
Pinalo means Pineapple of Lombok and is a brand that gives local pineapple farmers an opportunity for a new economy by harvesting pineapple leafs, scraping them and taking fibers out. Fibers are then processed through washing ,drying and spinning into yearns and are ready to be weaved into fabric. Luckily again, we are in Lombok, which holds a long tradition of hand-weaving.
At Selo group, we care in recruiting locals who are dedicated in working for luxury villas with love for their environment. This makes our team solid and stable. #DreamTeam 💚 #SeloFootprints #SocialEnterprise #SeloGroup #StrongerTogether #EcoFriendlyProducts
